Home Solar and Battery Storage in Grapevine, Planned Around Your Roof

We design and install solar panels for your home, add battery storage when it makes sense, and keep existing systems producing with repair and panel cleaning. Every plan starts with a close look at your roof and your electric bills. We work in Grapevine and nearby towns like Southlake, Colleyville and Euless.

The Solar Work We Do

Most of our installs are roof-mounted solar on composition shingle homes around the area. We can add battery storage to a new system or one you already have, so lights and the fridge keep running in an outage. When output falls off, a solar repair visit finds out why. Panel cleaning clears away spring pollen, dust and droppings that quietly cut production.

  • Solar Panel Installation

We size, permit and install a solar system around your real electric use and the shape of your roof, then handle the utility approval to switch it on.

  • Battery Storage

We size and install home batteries that store your solar power for evenings and keep the essentials on during outages.

  • Solar Repair

We track down why your system is underperforming or offline, from failed inverters to hail damage, and explain the fix before any work starts.

  • Panel Cleaning

We wash off dust, pollen and bird droppings with purified water and soft brushes, then tell you what we noticed about your panels.

  • Roof-Mounted Solar

Panels mounted on your existing roof, with a roof check before we start and flashed, sealed attachments at every rafter.

A Solar Company That Stays Close to Home

We started this company to give homeowners an honest, straightforward way to go solar. That means sizing systems from real numbers, telling you plainly when something is not a good fit, and treating your roof like it belongs to someone we know.

Because we work in the same area every week, we are around after the install too. If you ever need solar repair, a battery added later or a round of panel cleaning, you will be talking to the same company that put your system up.

Why Homeowners Choose Us

Going solar is a big decision, and most people worry about being oversold or ending up with a leaky roof. Here is how we work so neither happens.

Five years of local roofs

We have been in business 5 years, installing and servicing solar on homes across this part of North Texas. That time has taught us how local shingles age under summer heat, which roof pitches and orientations produce well, and what the city inspector looks for.

A safety record we are proud of

Our crews work on roofs and around live electrical equipment, so safety comes first on every job. We have received the Liberty Mutual Platinum Safety Award, and the habits behind it show up on your roof as careful staging, tie-off and tidy wiring.

Workmanship backed for a decade

Our solar installations carry a 10-year workmanship warranty. It applies to the parts of the job our crew handled, such as roof penetrations, mounts and wire runs. If one of those develops a problem, we send someone back out to repair it.

Sized to your bills, not a sales target

We size each system from your actual electricity use over the past year. If a smaller system or no battery is the better fit, we say so. And when your shingles look worn out, you hear that from us before a single mount goes on.

Flashing done for hail and heavy rain

Every roof attachment is flashed and sealed so water runs around it, not into it. We use racking and mounts rated for the wind and hail storms that roll through each spring.

What Changes the Cost of Home Solar

Every home gets its own quote, and we'd rather show you the reasons than give you a bare number. Below are the biggest cost drivers, and each one appears as its own line on your written estimate.

Once we've seen your roof, main panel and past bills, you receive a written estimate broken out line by line. Take as long as you need and ask us anything before you decide.

How big the system is
Panel count comes from your home's electric use and how much of it you want solar to handle. Bigger homes, or ones with a pool or two AC units, tend to need more.
Roof shape and direction
Roof faces pointed south or west produce best. Dormers, vents and valleys break up the space, which means more design work and sometimes extra mounting hardware.
How the shingles are holding up
Panels stay in place for decades, so the roof below needs plenty of life left. If your shingles are worn or hit by hail, we tell you up front so you can plan for it.
Your main panel
An older or crowded main panel may need upgrading before it can safely take solar. We look at it on the first visit so it never catches you off guard.
Adding a battery
A battery adds to the price, and its size depends on what you want running in an outage. We size it to what you actually need, not the largest unit on the market.
Equipment you pick
The panel brand, the type of inverter and the monitoring you choose all change the price and how the system performs over time. We explain the tradeoffs in everyday terms.

Questions We Hear From Homeowners

Will putting panels up make my roof leak?
Not when the attachments are installed properly. Every mount gets flashing and sealant so water runs around it. Our solar work also carries a 10-year workmanship warranty, so if a spot where we drilled ever lets water in, we come back and fix it.
What does your warranty cover?
The 10-year workmanship warranty applies to the installation and labor our crew puts into your solar system. The panels, inverters and batteries are covered separately by their makers. We go over both with you before we order any equipment.
How do panels hold up when hail hits?
Today's panels are tested against typical hail, and the tempered glass on top often fares better than the shingles around it. Extra-large hail can still crack one, so let your homeowners insurance agent know the system is there and make sure your policy lists it.
Do I have to get a battery?
No. A system works without one, though panels alone shut down for safety when the grid goes out. If staying powered through storms is important to you, it's worth talking about a battery, and you can add one at install or years later.
How long does the whole project take?
The install itself is typically one or two days. Permits, the inspection and the utility's approval often stretch things by several weeks before you can switch on. Your estimate comes with a realistic timeline, and we let you know as each step clears.
Does an HOA keep me from adding solar?
In most cases, no. Texas law limits how far an HOA can go to block solar, though plenty still want to see the layout first. We prepare the drawings an HOA usually asks for, and you can phone us with questions during their review.
Does the age of my roof make a difference?
We check your roof on the first visit and give you a plain answer. If the shingles are nearly worn out, it usually pays to replace them before going solar. Otherwise the panels must come off and go back on later, a cost you avoid by planning now.

How a Solar Project Runs

From the first conversation to the day your system turns on, you will know what is happening and what comes next.

  1. 1

    Start with a phone call

Share what your electric bills usually run and what you want from solar, lower bills, backup during outages or both. We answer your early questions and pick a time to visit.

  2. 2

    Roof and electrical check

We measure your roof, check the shingles and attic decking where we can, look at your main electrical panel and note shading from trees. You get photos of anything worth knowing about.

  3. 3

    Design and written estimate

We lay out the panels, show the expected production and give you a line-item estimate. Nothing moves forward until you are comfortable with it.

  4. 4

    Permits and paperwork

We pull the city permit and handle the utility interconnection application. This part takes some waiting, and we keep you updated so you are never left guessing.

  5. 5

    Install day and turn-on

Most roof installs take a day or two. We protect your landscaping, clean up each afternoon, then walk you through the system after the city inspection and utility approval.
